Compression Packing: Continual investment in research and development has led to the launch of the NPT system, the most advanced packing system to date and, with environmental factors in mind, the Company's production complies with guidelines established in the ESA's "fugitive emission control" program. Controller-One: a valve stem packing that utilizes geometry to meet the highest standards, to reduce "fugitive emissions". The die formed ring sets are designed using variable density, three low density graphite middling rings, sandwiched by two high density graphite rings, two anti-extrusion end rings made of INCOBRAID GR8807. Note: the graphite rings have been formed using engineered angles that load each die formed ring providing an elastic-like seal continually applying pressure on the valve stem during each cycle.

INCOBRAID®: To understand the real difference between INCOBRAID® and other packing, don't just consult the technical sheets. INCOBRAID® fibres are radically different. The complex production technology was introduced in order to improve the fibre’s mechanical properties and increase the packing's resistance to wear and pressure. Carrara has developed this high performance graphite packing to meet specific client requirements and stringent test standards. Metalbond: is a reinforced flat pure expanded graphite gasket with inner eyelet in AISI 316 stainless steel. This technology - a traditional solution which only recently has been applied on an industrial scale - improves the efficiency of the seal by strengthening the gasket’s inner edge, the area most subject to wear. This manufacturing technique increases the gasket’s reliability to maintain a seal.
